The Crawfish is Mine!

After leveling fishing to 375 and spending way too much time looking for Highland Mixed Schools, it finally happened. I’ve managed to catch the elusive Mr. Pinchy on five different occasions and yesterday morning he finally came through and I got the little pet guy.

and itches like a mofo. Other than that, the week has been fun. The kid talked me into playing Team Fortress 2 with him yesterday, and it’s not so bad aside from being a total noob and dying pretty much every time I walk outside of a base. It’s a nice break from the wow grind and despite not having a clue where I’m going most of the time, I didn’t do as badly as I thought I would.

Speaking of the wow grind. I’m sitting on 4 lvl 70s now, and with summer here, or raid schedule has gone to shit for the time being. It’s frustrating because we were pushing into BT and MT and I was looking forward to seeing more of those, but I think things will pick back up as the fall approaches. Right now we’re gearing up some of our regular members who are interested in raiding and looking for new players as well. So if you are on Skywall, horde side…let me know :)

Take one sore body and add tripping over her own feet…. you get a really nicely bruised knee, a back that hurt more than it did from the yardwork, and another bruise between a couple fingers.

I tried to step over something yesterday afternoon and caught my foot, doing a nice faceplant into the ground. I’m ok…just purple in spots. My dad made me feel better by telling me that I’ve hit the old line now, and I should be more careful. Great…just great….

At least he’s useful

There’s nothing like guilt tripping a 13 year old into helping with yard work. Ok, there’s nothing like threatening the disconnection of the computer, xbox, playstation, and removal of a psp to make a child claim to love helping you in the yard.

I procrastinate on a lot of things, this blog included. I’ve had a couple bags of mulch and some edging materials all ready to clean up the front of the house. We have holly bushes that were planted when we moved in. Personally I would love to rip them up and put something else in their place, but with water restrictions and my black thumb, I keep telling myself that these are ok, and more importantly, they are alive.

I would post the pic, but it’s going to have to wait. The kid took the camera on the trip with his dad and it appears that the cable is over there and didn’t make it back home. So just imagine lots of mulch, no weeds and some nice brown stone edging for now.
